About

Erika Myrick

Studio Owner & Head Coach

Erika started dancing in studio when she was in 1st Grade. She joined the Forest Grove High School Vikettes as an incoming Freshman, becoming the Captain in her Senior Year.

After High School, she attended Western Oregon University and danced with their dance team for two years.

From 2001-2005, she coached the Dallas High School Dance Team before coming home to Forest Grove.

Head Coach of the Vikettes since 2014, Erika wanted to create a studio experience that would prepare dancers to perform at a competitive level.

Coaches and Teachers

Miss Bree

She may not have started dancing before High School, but Miss Bree is devoted to dancing herself and teaching others the love of the art. Miss Bree is an avid believer in goal setting and challenging yourself. She loves to see kids growing into themselves and to see the passion and love in their faces when they dance. Dance is a game of who wants it more, and who is going to work hardest for it, and Miss Bree is here to encourage kiddos to make the conscious decision to work for something they want!

Miss Deja

Miss Deja began dancing at the age of four, and quickly fell in love. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, and modern dance. She became a performing company member at age nine, and continued training through high school and college to perform at recitals, community and sporting events, and annual productions of The Nutcracker. She began teaching dance classes as well as choreographing local musical productions during her college years. In 2015, Deja earned her Bachelors Degree in Dance from Pacific University with a focus in dance education. She believes that dance is for everyone, and is passionate about sharing this art form with dancers of all ages and levels.

Miss Tommie-Ann

Miss Tommie-Ann has been dancing since she was a toddler, and has dedicated her life to sharing her passion with others. She is classically trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap and acrobatics. Tommie-Ann began competing in dance in the 8th grade and holds awards in solo, duo and group routines at multiple studio competitions. As captain of the Vikettes in 2015-2016, she brought home “all star” dance and kick awards at thunderbird dance camp and also made the All State team with ODDC. She is now a certified personal trainer and fitness coach, who lives to make people stronger physically and mentally. Although, her number one passion will always be dancing. Her goal is to share that with young dancers through well rounded, technical and positive education.
