Erika Myrick

Studio Owner & Head Coach

Erika started dancing in studio when she was in 1st Grade. She joined the Forest Grove High School Vikettes as an incoming Freshman, becoming the Captain in her Senior Year.

After High School, she attended Western Oregon University and danced with their dance team for two years.

From 2001-2005, she coached the Dallas High School Dance Team before coming home to Forest Grove.

Head Coach of the Vikettes since 2014, Erika wanted to create a studio experience that would prepare dancers to perform at a competitive level.

Miss Layla was a Vikette Captain for 2 years and is known for her positivity and her love for Tupac. She is also known for her love and passion for Hip Hop and has been choreographing since her Junior year. Miss Layla continues teaching self love and self confidence for her dancers and is working to fulfill her goal of creating an environment of self expression and identity.

Miss Sydney

Miss Sydney began dancing at age 4, specializing early in ballet and acrobatics. She competed in dance and Xcel-level gymnastics throughout her youth and served as co-captain of the Vikettes in high school. At the University of Oregon, she earned a minor in dance and performed with the Student Dance Company and DuckStreet Dance Crew, including at the ACDA conference. Sydney now focuses on acrobatics and technique, with a passion for preparing dancers for life beyond high school.
